When I made the pendant for this necklace it immediately reminded me of a ship’s wheel and the quote that goes “I am the master of my fate, I am captain of my soul”. That quote is the final line in a poem by William Henley and it reinforces that each person has their own sovereignty, personal agency and in the face of adversity one must invoke their own inner resiliency.

The intention behind this necklace was infused while it was being made and it was one of embodying the inner power each of us has. Personal empowerment and breaking free of the victim mindset. The crystal used in this necklace is Fluorite, along with large pink freshwater pearls.

Fluorite is often called the “Genius Stone” because of its remarkable ability to enhance concentration, decision-making, and clear thinking. It’s a powerful token among students, creatives, and analytical thinkers who need to stay mentally sharp and focused.

This necklace measures 35 cm and all the findings are gold-plated. The pearls are high quality and handpicked by me from a farm in Thailand. The Fluorite beads are AAA+ quality.
